After two controversial shows in California last week, Kanye West has decided to cancel the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.
Yesterday Kanye West was taken to the UCLA Medical Center for a psychiatric evaluation just hours after canceling the final leg of the North American Saint Pablo Tour [Read that here if you missed that]
Now industry insiders are whispering about the 30 million reasons Yeezy may have for checking into a psych ward…
A rep for West confirmed the tour cancelation to Pitchfork.
A source told the New York Post that there are fears within West’s team that he is having a “nervous breakdown.”
The source said:
There are fears he is having a nervous breakdown. He’s surrounded by all these crazy people, but there’s nobody he listens to or who can rein him in. He’s a mad genius, and he’s spiraling further and further out of control. Basically everything crazy he does is ‘art,’ so he is becoming more and more unpredictable.
Another source told the paper that West is “exhausted” and is worn out. West’s rep did not comment.
…since Kanye cancelled the remainder of his tour due to “exhaustion,” could it be that insurance requires an actual medical diagnosis to cover the cost of the missed concert dates??? Otherwise, the reimbursement to the fans and to the concert promoter might have to come out of Kanye’s pocket if he breaches his contract.
“I’ve been sitting here to give y’all the truth. Jay Z, call me, bruh,” West said during his Sacramento rant. “You still ain’t calling me. Jay Z, call me. Aye, bruh, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man.”
