In a powerful video being shared on social media Thursday morning, an African American female police officer expresses outrage at the police shooting of a black man, calling on white officers who are prejudiced against non-white people to “take off the uniform” or “go work somewhere else.”

The video was shared as news spread Thursday morning of a shooting in Minnesota in which Philando Castile, a 32-year-old black man, was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop in front of his girlfriend and her daughter. Castile’s girlfriend posted a video to Facebook in the aftermath of the shooting. The graphic footage showed Castile slumped over in the car in a blood-soaked t-shirt with an officer holding a gun standing at the driver’s side window. Castile’s death comes just a day after another black man, Alton Sterling, was shot by cops in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a case that the U.S. Justice Department is now investigating.

The video posted by the female police officer shows the anger and pain she feels as an officer who says she would give her life to protect “anybody” and that those who do not feel the same way should be ashamed and do not deserve to wear the uniform. The video was originally posted by the Twitter account @_officialPrissy, but the account has been made private and the video has been posted to YouTube.

“How dare you stand next to me in the same uniform and murder somebody. How dare you. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You know good and well you got a God complex, you are afraid of people that don’t look like you, you have no business in that uniform, take it off,” she says. Watch the complete video above.
